Sum numbers in EXCEL

Perform addition of values in the row fields which satisfy two criteria (And Condition). Consider the Text of the criteria and Numeric criteria in the Date format. Let us consider the function SUMIFS(), the English version of SUMIFS().

is There a difference between addition values by using functions SUM(), the English version of SUM(), and the addition operation (+)? It turns out there is a difference.

To sum the values that meet the filter criteria (condition), use the function SUMIF(), the English version of SUMIF().

DSUM(), the English version of DSUM(), sums up the numbers in the data table that satisfy the given conditions.

To sum values in one range based on another range, use the function SUMIF(). Consider the case when the criterion is applied the range containing text values.

will Produce a combination of values that satisfy at least one of 3 criteria (Condition OR). For example, in a table with a list of Fruits and their quantities in stock, will select rows where the column Fruits are Apples OR Oranges OR Pears, then sum up the boxes in these lines.

you Have a table consisting of two columns: a column of duplicate text values and column numbers. We will create a table containing only rows with unique text values. By the numeric column will produce the summation of the corresponding values.

the Range of summation contains duplicate values. Will produce only those numbers which have duplicates.

Fold three (four, five, etc.) of the largest values in a range. If the range is also repetitive, to take them into account will not.

we All remember how exhausting it is to write in the manual a formula to add each second value in the list: A1+A3+A5+... luckily there is a function SUMPRODUCT().

Use mixed addressing for to create a column with the summation of the cumulative total.

given a table with two columns: a text column with duplicates and a numeric column. Will sum only those numbers that match non-recurring text.

Fold three (four, five, etc.) of the largest values in a range.

Find the sum of values located in each third line, using the function DSUM() and SUMPRODUCT().

If the range of summation is found, the error value #N/A (value not available), the function SUM() will return an error. Use the function SUMIF() to handle such situations.

the Range of summation contains duplicate values. Fold Chisel only those that do not have duplicates.

Let the range of summation contains duplicate values. Perform the addition of NUMBERS without dupes.

suppose you have the number 456258 and need to find the sum of all its digits, i.e. 4+5+6+2+5+8. This can be done a single equation.

will give the count of values that meet three criteria, which form the Conditions I. 2 for Example, in a table with a list of Fruits and their quantities in stock, will select rows where the column Fruit is Apples, and the balance in stock of at least 4 (boxes) and not more than 90, then sum up the number of boxes of selected rows.

are counting the table rows that meet three criteria, which form the Condition OR the Condition, And then sum up the numeric values of these lines. for Example, in a table with a list of Fruits and their quantities in stock, will select rows where column is Fruit Peaches OR Apples, and with the balance in stock of at least 10 (boxes), and then sum up the boxes in these rows.

will Produce a combination of values that satisfy at least one of the 2 criteria (Condition OR). For example, in a table with a list of Fruits and their quantities in stock, will select rows in which column the Fruit is Apples OR strings in stock at least 12 (boxes), and then sum up the boxes in these rows. Ie first, selected of the Party of Apples and then added the party any fruit (except apples) balance of stock at least 12 (boxes).

To sum values in one range based on another range, use the function SUMIF(). Consider the case when the criterion applies to a range of dates.

Consider adding the values in the case of application of several criteria. An example is finding the sum of numbers that fall within a certain interval, or the addition of sales of several products. For this purpose you can use different functions: SUMPRODUCT() SUMIF(), SUMIFS(), DSUM() and array formulas

Quick fold/ divide/ multiply numeric values from a cell range into a user-specified number. This approach allows to reduce or increase the length of numbers in the selected range, quickly allocate VAT, etc.

SUM() is probably the most used function in EXCEL. Of course I want to spend on her input as possible.

If the range contains positive and negative values, and need to get the sum of the modules (absolute values) these values, you can do this by writing a formula in one cell.
